Taylor started her YouTube career, first by recording ASMR video using her smartphone. PewDiePie included her in an online gaming video not long after she had topped 50,000 subscribers about 1 1/2months after uploading the first video. Taylor stopped creating videos at approximately two months after she had close to 100 000 followers. Taylor put all of her videos in private due to technical difficulties with the new hardware. After a month long break and a few months of making new videos, she started in the new year, such as the well-known ASMR 10 Triggers to Help You Sleep (35 million views by the month of August, 2022). In July 2017 she uploaded another video that was viewed by millions, ASMR 20 Triggers to Help you sleep (38 million views at the month of August, 2022). When she reached 1 million YouTube subscribers, she included in an interview with Shane Dawson interview in August 2017. In February, Wired UK estimated that she made $1,000 per day through advertising from her YouTube channel

Helfer was born in the rural area of Donalda, Alberta, Canada, to Dennis Helfer and Elaine Helfer. Her parents are born to German as well as English descendance. She attended William E. Hay Composite High School located in Stettler. The three sisters she shares with lived on the family's grain farm.
